Membership categories:
Full: beekeeping membership, with full voting rights is £42.20. This includes attendance at Coventry Branch meetings and any other Warwickshire Branch meetings, access to Coventry Branch apiary, mandatory WBKA and BBKA payments to cover liability insurances, the BBKA magazine and the monthly Warwickshire Beekeeper (WB) online magazine, a contribution to running Coventry Branch and the mandatory Bee Diseases Insurance (BDI).
Partner: beekeeping membership, also with full voting rights, is £24.20.
When two people at the same address are both fully involved in beekeeping at the same apiary then the second person should have partner membership. This includes a Coventry Branch contribution and 66% of the mandatory payments to WBKA and BBKA. No BDI and no magazines as the full member gets them. The Full member needs to pay any extra BDI to cover the total number of hives you jointly have.
Junior: beekeeping membership £12.00. The same as Partner member, without voting rights. This is for People under the age of 18, living at the same address as a Full Member. Junior members can only attend meetings when accompanied by a responsible adult.
Associate: non-beekeeping and non-voting membership at £13.70 is for anyone who would like to keep in touch via WB and attend Coventry Branch meetings
