Winter Meeting – October – Honey Show

Coventry Branch Honey Show

See the attached schedule for the Coventry Branch Honey Show 2024 that takes place on Monday 21st October in the church hall of All Saints Allesley, Rectory Ln, Allesley, CV5 9EQ (for anyone who has not attended winter meetings before).

All honey show entries are open to CBKA members and their immediate families. Entries will be taken on the evening between 7pm and 7.25pm so that judging can start at 7.30pm. Entries will be made online and you will be sent a link in the near future to enable you to do this. A form is attached to the show schedule so that you can start planning your entries.

There are a total of 24 possible classes that can be entered and not all of these include honey and wax as they cover other bee-keeping areas of interest.

For those who have not entered a show before, you are entitled to enter any class, however I would draw your attention to the novice classes.

Trophies will be awarded at the end of the evening, including the novice with the most points and the best exhibit in the show.  A Novice being defined as any member who has not won a 1st prize at any honey show before
