Winter Meeting – November

This month we have an excellent speaker Professor Giles Budge from Newcastle University.

Giles was the senior scientist at the National Bee Unit, heading up the research in Bee Disease, prior to moving to Newcastle University as Professor.

Giles will talk about “Chronic Bee Paralysis” a disease which is highly contagious, can be devastating to a colony (and an apiary site) and is becoming more common in England.

Giles is a very good and entertaining speaker and he will be joining us ‘Virtually’ as we will show a recording of the presentation, he gave to the spring convention in 2023.

It should be a very interesting and enjoyable talk
